Sir,
With reference to my Despatch No.186 of the 4th May, 1900, I have the honour to transmit for your consideration the enclosed copy of a statement which has been furnished by the Principal Civil Medical Officer detailing the additional Staff which will be required for the Victoria Hospital for Women and Children. This Hospital is nearing completion and will be ready for occupation early next year.
It is therefore desired to provide for the Staff for it in the Estimates for 1903.
